• The age of a competitor is taken as of 31st August of the year preceding the Festival.
• In Duets/Trios/Quartets/Groups the age of the oldest competitor determines the class and
  fee.
• * Note that the age limit for Solos is 18 years (all other classes maximum 21 years).
